Many people start affiliate marketing, mlm programs, or start their own business online with the ultimate goal of making enough money to quit your day job and perform your business fulltime making a large income.

This is a big transition and a risk, so there are a few things to think of to make the transition as smooth as possible before you quit your day job to persue your own business fulltime.

First as you start your new business, take all profits from it and reinvest of course in your business and start paying down your bills. You want to get if you have any, all of your credit card balances off.

Next you want to start saving as much as you can for a safety net. Make sure the money you make with your business is consistant monthly and growing. When you quit your day job to pursue your business fulltime, you want to be able to pay all your living expenses with no problems and have plently left over, with no credit card balances or other debts hanging out there. You also want to be making enough to be able to provide yourself with health insurance,etc. as if you work for a company that is supplying these, you will be having to pay for this also. There is a large variety of plans now specifically for one person businesses or small operations.

Ideally here is the way I have thought it should go.

You have your online business, it starts pulling in money, you use this to pay down your debts, reinvest some in your business, save some of these profits. As they grow you pay down more debts,which frees up more money from your day job. You then start making sure the profits are consistant monthly, and your business is growing. Ideally you should be able to say you are making more from your online business, mlm,etc then working at your day job. During this you want to find a accountant, or learn as much as you can about taxes, deductions, etc, by having your own business. Then you transition to your business fulltime, and grow it double,triple or more by focusing on it fulltime.

A steady, safe transition which we all want you to have, with no problems, though lots of success!
